European Automobile Producers Association (ACEA) announced the new automobile registration data of EU countries for February. Accordingly, new automobile sales in EU countries decreased by 3.4 percent compared to the same month of 2024 last month.

35.6 percent of the new cars sold in the Union member countries were hybrid, 28.6 gasoline, 15.4 electric, 9.4 diesel, 7.4 plug-in (Plug-in) hybrid and 3.5 percent of other fuel species were used as vehicles.
Electric automobile sales increased by 23.7 percent in February compared to the same period last year and 131 thousand 275. In addition, the share of full electric, hybrid and plug hybrid models in total sales reached 58.4 percent.
New automobile sales decreased by 6.4 percent in Germany in February, 6.2 percent in Italy, 0.7 in France, 11 percent in Spain.
In January-February, the total sales decreased by 3 percent compared to the same period last year and went down to 1 million 685 thousand 640. According to automotive manufacturers, in February, the most new automobile sales in the EU was sold with 232 thousand 169 vehicles Volkswagen Group.
