Giving information about the triple independent track operation, Uraloğlu said, “With this system, three aircraft will be able to land at the same time at the same time. Uraloğlu recalled that the activities of the project started in the last quarter of 2022 and recalled that meetings, risk analyzes, safety studies and simulations were carried out in cooperation with the European Air Navigation Safety Organization (Eurocontrol), State Airports Business, General Directorate of Civil Aviation and Turkish Airlines in 2023 and 2024. Emphasizing that all the necessary preparations have been completed in line with the safety analysis report prepared by Eurocontrol, Uraloğlu said that the new airspace design was made, the control systems were made in accordance with triple operations, that the airline companies were informed and that the air traffic controllers were given with local simulator.
