The first Party Assembly (PM) meeting was held in the CHP on 6 April. At the meeting under the chairmanship of Özgür Özel, the Central Board of Directors (MYK) list was determined. Llist in the CHP deputy Ozgur Karabat’a Administrative and Financial Affairs Vice President of the Vice President drew attention. The name of the Karabat came to the agenda with a corruption investigation against the IMM. The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office announced that the name of the Karabat was passed in the investigation of documents and witness statements and sent the file of the Karabat to the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office with the decision of ‘lack of jurisdiction’.
IETT had received tenders
Özgür Karabat’s name, Imamoglu’s presidential seat after the IETT maintenance and repair tenders came to the agenda with the company. The maintenance tenders of the IETT buses, where breakdown, accidents and fires occur, were delivered to the Transportation İç ve Dış Ticaret A.Ş. It was stated that the company earned 4 billion 178 million 722 thousand 868 TL from the tenders it received between 2020-2024. Imamoglu’s Mayor of Beylikdüzü during the CHP district president and rising to the deputy over the years Turan Taşkın Özer came to the agenda with tenders given to his brother’s company.
