It is not easy to clean the mold and get rid of it completely. Although bleach is effective in the fight against mold, more natural and effective alternatives may be preferred in some cases for both health and surfaces not to be damaged. One of them is vinegar and carbonate, the enemy of mold. We have brought together the most effective cleaning methods for those who start spring cleaning.
Three Mold Enemy Materials
Bleach is not the only material against mold. There are also some more effective and/or safer methods than bleach.
1. Vinegar (White Vinegar)
Vinegar kills mold and prevents it from re -formation. The smell of the vinegar may be sharp, but it disappears after drying.
How to use it?
Place pure white vinegar in the spray bottle. Squeeze the moldy area, leave for 1 hour. Wipe with a brush or cloth.
Rinse if necessary.
2. Carbonate + Water / Vinegar
Carbonate has both cleaner and mold reducing properties.
How to use it?
Mix 1 tablespoon carbonate with 1 cup of water.
Apply with spray or cloth, wipe.
You can mix carbonate with vinegar for a stronger effect. (Lightly foam)
3. Tea Tree Oil (Tea Tree Oil)
Effect: It is very effective thanks to its natural antifungal properties.
How to use it?
Add 1 teaspoon of tea tree oil to 1 cup of water.
Apply to the moldy surface with spray.
Leave it without wiping, because it continues to affect even when it is dry.
Note: It may be expensive, but a small amount goes for a long time.
What you need to pay attention to
Plug the mask to avoid breathing mold.
Do not rub too much with a dry cloth so that mold does not spread.
If there is mold in fabrics, drying in sunlight is also effective.
