UTICA, N.Y. — The City of Utica is gearing up for its annual Bank of Utica New Year’s Eve event.
Starting tomorrow at 6:30 p.m., the celebration will take place in downtown Utica between Bank Place and Devereux Street.

‘Tis the season to start thinking about the new year, and the Bank of Utica has released information about its annual celebration.
The event is free and offers live music, street entertainment, ice carving demonstrations, food and fun.
A bonfire will be available to keep attendees warm.
The Utica DPW, police and fire departments will compete in a chili cook-off for those seeking a warm treat.
Despite current weather conditions, organizers anticipate a large turnout.
The evening will conclude with a fireworks display at midnight at the Bank of Utica Tower.
