SHERRILL, N.Y. — The City of Sherrill will receive $2.6 million to reconstruct the Al Glover Pool.
The funding is part of the New York Statewide Investment in More Swimming (NY SWIMS) Initiative.
The local project will include a new zero-entry pool, a splash pad and a renovated pool house.
The State initiative has awarded $200 million through two rounds, supporting 57 projects.
The grants range from $250,000 to $10 million, focusing on community need, public benefit and readiness for implementation.
