Boombassador, Dec. 26
Boombassador will play with Heady Hooligan at 8 p.m. Dec. 26 at The Arts Campus At Willits. The Polish Ambassador started as an experiment, and now David Sugalski’s sound-art passion project comes to life as an inventive, imaginary character bor Bold Keyboard shortcut Command+Bn.
Today, TPA is among the premier EDM/live crossover artists in the country and founder of independent label Jumpsuit Records, an environmentalist and early progenitor of the permaculture action movement. Electronic rock duo BoomBox, made up of brothers Zion Rock Godchaux and Kinsman MacKay, brings heavy organic grooves and soulful beats with a signature type of groove rooted in a back-beat driven style, smooth vocals, and original lyrics. A special holiday walking tour of Aspen’s historic sites and stories will be hosted from 1:30-3 p.m. Dec. 27, starting off in front of the Wheeler Opera House, located at 320 E. Hyman Street. The host will share a brief history at Sister Cities Plaza at Wagner Park and then weave through the decorated downtown core before concluding at the iconic, holiday‑decked Hotel Jerome.
